Thank you to all to attended – we love sharing our work with you!

In preparation for the show, we did a little sneak peak video that garnered lots of views in social media – how the world of advertising is changing!  Here is that video for anyone who didn’t get to the show.

Check out the photos below for a closer look at the art, pottery and jewelery on display.

IT’S THAT TIME OF YEAR AGAIN!

It’s that time of year again!

Time for the annual Cornfest Fine Art Show and Sale.

The sale will be held on

Saturday, August 26 from 9 am – 5 pm

at the Taber Arts and Crafts Building.

Where in the World Are You?

We are in the red building located behind Parkside Manor (4830B 50 Ave) – it is located directly to the north of the spray park and skate park and just to the west of the main Cornfest Stage on the other side of the tennis courts.

Please note this is NOT the Cornfest Arts and Crafts Market held at the civic centre.  Every year we have people looking for us and ending up at the other Market.

Here is a handy map showing our location. If you are coming from out of town, to avoid traffic nightmares, take the farthest west entrance (hwy 864) into Taber,  go north to 50 Ave, turn right and go to the 4 way stop. You will see our red building on the south side of the street just through the intersection.

What is Taber Arts & Crafts Society?

First a little bit about our club.  We are a multi medium club having several artistic disciplines under our TACS umbrella.  We have both a painting studio with both table and floor easels for member use and a pottery studio complete with wheels & kilns.  We also have several looms available for anyone who knows how to weave.  Our members encompass all levels of creative ability, from raw beginners to experienced artists and potters.  We welcome newcomers of all levels. Our club members get together to socialize and to work on their creative projects each week and it is an amazing opportunity to learn through interaction with more experienced members.
